It Began With a Dream.
Not a dream of building a business.
But a dream of creating something meaningful. Something that could turn an ordinary corner into a cherished space, a simple gift into a lasting memory, and everyday materials into something extraordinary.
That first spark belonged to The Dreamer.
For her, beauty was never just about how something looked. It was about how it made someone feel. The warmth of a thoughtfully decorated home. The joy of receiving something made especially for you. The quiet charm of an object that carries a story.
She imagined a world where handmade creations were not merely decorations, but little expressions of happiness, personality and belonging.
And like many beautiful dreams, it needed more than imagination to come alive.

A Dream Found Its Hands.
Every vision needs someone willing to turn possibility into reality.
For ATHKHELII, that person is The Maker.
Where The Dreamer imagined possibilities, The Maker explored how to give them form. Through patient experimentation, unfamiliar materials, countless small adjustments and the determination to get every detail right, an idea slowly began taking shape.
Threads became intricate patterns. Simple materials found new forms. Colours, textures and techniques came together to create pieces with character.
There were trials. Imperfections. Designs that needed another attempt.
But with every creation, the vision became clearer.
The Dreamer imagined what could be. The Maker gave it form. And somewhere between imagination and craftsmanship, ATHKHELII was born.

With its roots in the culturally rich city of Ujjain and its creative journey currently unfolding in Lucknow, ATHKHELII carries a sense of Indian warmth into a contemporary world of handmade design.
Our inspiration comes from the little things: a playful detail, a beautiful texture, a familiar tradition reimagined, or the simple pleasure of making something with your own hands.
We believe craftsmanship should feel personal, not mechanical. That thoughtful design need not be complicated. And that even the smallest creation can bring unexpected joy.
This philosophy guides our exploration of macramé, decorative casting, resin art and thoughtfully designed gifts.
